Bon E. Moravek, son of Adolph Moravek and Ellula (Hubka) Moravek was born on September 28, 1928 at rural Munden, Kansas and passed away on January 11, 2014 at Salina, Kansas at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 13 days.
Bon attended Mt. Erie grade school and graduated from Munden High School in 1946. He was united in marriage to Ella I. Rytych on August 15, 1950 and to this union one son Rick Moravek was born.
He was a member of the Republic County Czech Club, ZCBJ-WFLA Lodge No. 19 of Munden, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Ellula Moravek, two brothers, Morris and Garry.
He is survived by his wife, Ella I. Moravek of rural Munden, KS, one son, Rick (Sharon) Moravek of rural Narka, KS, one grandson, Ryan Moravek of Farmerville, LA, two step grandchildren, Molly (Justin) Hug of Munden, KS, Alex Potuzak of rural Narka, KS, one sister, Evelynn Cerveny of Fairbury, NE, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Ten AM, Tuesday, Jan 14, 2014, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS.
Interment will be in Tabor Cemetery, rural Munden, Kansas.
