The Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems Board of Trustees met least night for a special meeting to address the resignation of hospital CEO David Dick. After his resignation, which will be effective March 21, 2014, he will be relocating to take a position in South Dakota. A decision was not reached as to whether or not an outside interim CEO will be brought in until a new, permanent CEO is hired. The Board did agree to serve as the search comittee and utilize the services of a consulting firm to help in their search. CEO David Dick was present for this special meeting to answer any questions or concerns the Board may have had, and members of the Board shared their thanks and appreciation for the CEO's years of service and contributions to Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems.
