Mable Elizabeth Knouf, 82, died April 2, 2014. She was born January 12, 1932 to John and Mary (Rauch) Brown in Trego Co., KS.
Mable attended school in Wakeeney, KS. She married John Arthur Knouf on August 23, 1949.
Survivors include: three sons, Dennis (Theresa) Knouf of Salina, KS, Jerry (Sherry) Knouf of Downs, Kelly Knouf of Downs; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Reddig of Woodland, CA and Dorothy Smith of Salinas, CA.
Those preceding her in death: husband, John Arthur Knouf in 1988, brothers, Dwight Brown, Les Brown, Everett Brown and Cecil Percell, a sister, Vera Knouf, and a grandson, Kenneth Woodall.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Church, Downs. A visitation will be Friday, April 4 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Domoney Funeral Home. Memorial funds have been established to Downs Senior Center and Downs Historical Society. Domoney Funeral Home, Downs, KS is in charge of arrangements.
