Congratulations owners of Farmway Co-op, Inc. during this time of growth for your cooperative, which has created a successful past year. Farmway employees and board of directors invite members to the 103rd Annual Meeting of Farmway Co-op, Inc. The focus of this year's meeting is "Growing together, Growing with purpose."
The 2014 Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, May 1, at the Beloit Municipal Building, 119 N. Hersey Street, Beloit. The meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the Beloit Municipal Building and will be followed by the business portion of the meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs gymnasium.
The business meeting will include the "State of Farmway Co-op, Inc Address" by CEO Art Duerksen.
During the business meeting, open positions for the Board of Directors will be filled by election and the annual audit of the accounts of the corporation will be submitted. The meeting will also include a presentation of the business activities of the past year.
Producer-members will be voting on directors at the Annual Meeting. This year's expiring terms include those of Eric Eilert, Beloit, District #1; Alan Aufdemberge, Lincoln, District #2; Ron Benson, Clay Center, District #4; and Ken Keil, Concordia, District #3. These gentlemen are eligible for reelection.
Members in attendance for the Annual Meeting will be eligible for door prizes.
