Opening for Marketing Director: North Central Kansas Technical College is accepting applications for a 12-month position, responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all of the marketing efforts to promote the NCK Tech brand and increase visibility and engagement of the College. The successful candidate may choose to maintain an office on either our Beloit or Hays campus.
Qualifications include:
*ï‚· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
*ï‚· Leadership, time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail;
*ï‚· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite software;
*ï‚· A degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a closely related field and/or demonstrated experience in marketing;
*ï‚· Experience with digital marketing and the ability to learn and use a variety of social media platforms;
*ï‚· A passion for the job.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
*ï‚· Coordinate the marketing efforts with departments within the College and with a marketing consultant to support the strategic initiatives of the institution;
*ï‚· Develop press releases, advertisements, and marketing pieces;
*ï‚· Monitor and maintain accurate and timely information in marketing materials and media, including written, video, radio, social media, and web content;
*ï‚· Attend and host public relations events to increase community interaction;
*ï‚· Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external constituents;
*ï‚· Develop, maintain, and execute College communications processes;
*ï‚· Maintain regular communication with supervisor regarding marketing efforts;
*ï‚· Perform other duties as required.
