Linda Marcotte-Stillabower, Age 63

Linda Marcotte-Stillabower, age 63, died January 19, 2015 at her home in Concordia. She was born on Oct. 30, 1951 to Edward G. & Mary Ann (Metro) Marcotte.

Linda attended Notre Dame High School until it closed and graduated from Concordia High School. She then attended nursing school and worked as a nurse at the hospital and later at the Concordia Rest Home. Linda later worked as a para-educator for LCNCK in all the schools in Concordia, but primarily worked with special education at the high school. She married Don Stillabower on Sept. 21, 2002. Linda was actively involved with the Cloud County Relay for Life, a coach for Special Olympics and was very active in the Women of the Moose Lodge #1428. Linda was a member of the 4J Cowboy Church. She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's activities, events and supporting their endeavors. She especially loved her dog & cat, Wilbur & Mooch.

She is survived by her husband, Don; daughters, Becky Woodford (Brian) & Mary Frances Duvall (Joshua), both of Concordia; brothers, Harvey Marcotte (Dora), Garden City & Cameron "Sam" Marcotte (Nancy), Topeka; grandchildren, Liz, Lacie & Christopher Duvall & several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents & sisters, Pauline Marcotte & Emmaline McGovern.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Fri., Jan. 23, 2015 at the 4J Cowboy Church, Concordia with Pastors Bob Cook & Paul McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 am to 9 pm with the family greeting friends from 5-7 pm & a Rosary at 7 pm, Thurs., Jan. 22 with Rev. LeRoy Metro officiating, all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
