Norma L. Ridle, Age 95

Norma L. Ridle, the daughter of Ralph and Anna (Ross) Graham, was born on December 19, 1919 on a farm near Webber, Kansas. She passed away on January 29, 2015 at the Holmes Lake Nursing Home at Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 95 years, 1 month, and 10 days.

Norma was one of eleven children growing up on the farm. She attended school in Webber, Kansas, after graduating she attended Hays, Kansas Teacher's College. She married Glenn Ridle on August 20, 1941 in Webber, Kansas and to this union four children were born, together they raised their family of a farm near Superior. They moved into town upon their retirement.

Norma was a loving wife, and mother. She was a seamstress and was owner/operator of Norma's Fabric in Superior. She was a Nuckolls county 4-H leader, and was a member of the Valley Home Extension Club, First United Methodist Church and Methodist Women since 1941.

She loved to play bridge and belonged to many bridge clubs and she also enjoyed going to dances. She moved to Lincoln where she resided until her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dale, John, Lawrence, Maurice, Charles, Kermit, Clyde and Melvin and sister Ila Callaway and son-in-law Donald Willett.

She will be dearly missed by her family Pamela Reitz and husband Dr. James of Englewood, Colorado, Angela Willett of Superior, Nebraska, Patricia Lewis and husband Larry of Lincoln, Nebraska and David Ridle and wife Kathryn of Oak Harbor, Washington; eight grandchildren: Marci Funk and husband Dr. Joe, Andrea Caldwell and husband Shane, Audra Haskins and husband Jeffery, Darren Willett and wife Tiffany, David Harse and wife Angela, Grant Harse and wife Lori, Aaron Ridle and Anna Ridle; 14 great grandchildren and sister Mildred Heflin of McAllen, Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
