Violette Precht, Age 96

Violette Wilhelmina Precht of Deshler, NE the daughter of Martin and Minnie (Ahrens) Scholz was born November 1, 1918 in Deshler, NE. She departed this life Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, NE at the age of 96 years. She married Louis Precht March 22, 1941 and there union was blessed with the birth of two children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Roy Scholz, twin sister Viola Trahan and son-in-law Ken Kolke. She is survived by son James Precht and wife Gloria of Goodland, KS, daughter Karen Kolke of Walled Lake, MI, six grandchildren; Kenneth J. Kolke of Walled Lake, MI, Michael Kolke of Walled Lake, MI, Justin Precht and wife Lindy of Wichita, KS, Josh Precht and wife Shelly of Lincoln, NE, and Jarrod Precht of Aurora, CO, two great-grandchildren; Abby Precht and Kenny Kolke, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 2, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Deshler, NE at 2:30 PM. Officiant Pastor Brian Francik, organist Joyce Schmidt, congregational hymns "How Great Thou Art" and "Just As I Am", visitation will be Sunday 1PM to 7PM at Deshler Memorial Funeral Home in Deshler, NE, casket bearers are the grandsons, condolence may be left at www.krollfh.com , memorial in care of St. Peter Lutheran Church Sunday School Program, burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Deshler, NE. Deshler Memorial Funeral Home of Deshler, NE is in charge of arrangements.
